Rules of the Quest

Entrants in the Quest for the Round Table will vie to show the extent of their Knightly Virtues. They will receive ribbons worth points toward a final tally taken at the end of the day. Entrants will keep track of their ribbons on a favor provided at Armor inspection and sign up.

Entrants can receive point ribbons from and for:

The stewards for the various events will report to the Event Steward a list of people who have offered service to the Shire for marshaling, heralding, setup, gate, water bearing, etc. At the end of the Quest, the Event Steward will be award a blue ribbon worth 10 points to the entrants deserving of recognition for service to the Shire.
All event attendees will receive a Green Ribbon worth 1 point that they may award to an Entrant for individual services.
At the beginning of the Tournament, during Armor Inspection and Sign up, Entrants will be given red ribbons to record victories on the field of combat. The ribbons will be exchanged by the combatants at the end of each bout. One red ribbon represents one victory. Red ribbons are worth 5 points.
Three Ladies of Virtue will wander the site looking for exceptional displays of Prowess, Nobility, and Humility in the Entrants. These Ladies of Virtue will award a white ribbon to Entrants who catch their notice. White ribbons are worth 10 points.
Each Entrant entering an Arts & Sciences entry worthy of such a competition will receive a gold ribbon from the Arts & Sciences Steward for the entry. The overall winner of the competition will receive a prize and extra point ribbons to keep or bestow on their chosen Entrant. The Arts & Sciences competition is open to everyone. Gold ribbons are worth 5 points.

Sir Perceival personifies the virtue of Prowess. His title will be awarded to the victor of the Chivalric Tournament.
Sir Gawain personifies the virtue of Courtesy. Our Ladies Gallery will survey the Entrants throughout the day and choose the Entrant to be awarded his title.
Sir Lancelot personifies Courage, Sir Galahad personifies Humility, Sir Kay personifies Loyalty, and Sir Gareth personifies Justice. Our Knights' Council will survey the days events for exceptional displays of these virtues. At Court, our Knights' Council will proclaim the Entrants they believe best illustrated the virtues of these Knights during the day, bequeathing wondrous regalia to the proclaimed Knights of the Quest for the Round Table.
